An exciting opportunity has arisen at Capel Manor College, and we are now seeking to appoint a Head of Agriculture, Arboriculture and Environmental Conservation (AAEC).
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading, developing, and managing this specialist curriculum area across the College campuses. Working collaboratively and innovatively with staff, they will foster a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring high standards of teaching, learning, and student achievement. The post holder will also provide strategic oversight of curriculum planning and development, ensuring provision is industry-led, compliant, and aligned with the College’s strategic priorities and the wider green skills agenda.

We welcome applications from experienced curriculum leaders or outstanding practitioners ready to progress into senior leadership. The ideal candidate will hold a teaching qualification (PGCE or DTLLS), alongside a relevant higher-level vocational or academic qualification in agriculture, arboriculture, conservation, or a related land-based discipline. Experience of working in the land-based industries is essential, with evidence of delivering teaching and learning to a consistently high standard. Experience of strategic leadership of livestock and crop production in a college environment is essential as part of this role.
