We have strong values centred around our learners and impact over 100,000 of them every year. Our ‘Purple People’ – the dedicated and passionate people of LCG – help us deliver success no matter what, to achieve our vision to ‘transform lives through learning’.
We are looking for an inspirational leader to join Learning Curve Group as Head of Academies - Construction. Our Construction Academies division is made up of three academies based in the North East at Middlesbrough & Sunderland and one in Exeter. Whilst you will spend a significant amount of time based in the North East, you will be required to travel to Exeter on a regular monthly basis, which will include some overnight stays.
We specialise in a range of trades including Bricklaying, Plastering, Carpentry & Joinery, Painting & Decorating, and Multi‑Skill qualifications. Following significant investment in our newly equipped Sunderland skills academy, we now offer commercial provision in Green Energy Source heating as well as solar and charger installation and electrical and plumbing upskilling courses. Our provision varies from short & long courses to apprenticeships and study programmes, where learners receive experience of trading within a fully working workshop.
As Head of Academies, you will drive passion and success through the academy and be responsible for providing inspirational leadership to the Construction Academy team while driving Learning Curve Group’s strategy for our Academies Division, ensuring a high‑quality learning experience for our learners. You will support strategic growth plans for the provision, maximising opportunities across all three sites.
