Berkhamsted School is seeking an experienced practitioner to lead the Academic Physical Education programme on a maternity cover basis. The Head of Academic PE will lead KS4 and KS5, enhancing and developing the curriculum and supporting the Director of Sport in PE and Games across the School. Start date: January 2027.

The role involves curriculum delivery and oversight of extracurricular PE activities, contributing to high standards across the school community.

The Head of Academic PE will be responsible for leading, enhancing and developing the Academic Physical Education programme at Key Stage 4 & 5 as well as supporting the Director of Sport in the delivery of PE and Games across the School, through curriculum lessons and extracurricular activities.
