Job summary

Care UK is seeking a Head Housekeeper in the United Kingdom to lead the housekeeping team, ensure exceptional cleaning and hygiene, and manage rosters and budgets. The role emphasizes understanding residents' needs and maintaining dignity and comfort within the home.

You will supervise staff, support development, attend resident meetings, and ensure laundry standards meet high quality. The position contributes to a caring environment with a focus on teamwork and resident wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team in a care home environment.
• Ability to maintain high standards of cleaning and hygiene.
• Experience in managing budgets and staffing rosters.

Responsibilities

• Lead the housekeeping team and perform duties as required.
• Maintain high cleaning and hygiene standards within the home.
• Supervise the team and develop staff.
