Job summary

Exemplar Health Care is seeking a Head Housekeeper for Primrose Place care home in Coalville. You will lead the new Housekeeping Team, setting and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and a welcoming environment for residents and staff.

The role offers a full-time schedule with a flexible, hands-on approach and opportunities to develop within a growing care home group. Previous supervisory experience is preferred, GCSEs may be useful, and a strong eye for detail is essential.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in English and Maths may be useful.
• Supervisory experience in a similar role is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead all daily and weekly cleaning routines of the Housekeeping Team to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Oversee cleaning of residents' rooms, lounges, kitchens, bathrooms, offices and common areas.
• Build trust, promote dignity and independence, and motivate the team to deliver exceptional service.

Contract type: Full Time 40 hours per week

Rate: Up to £13.27 per hour

You'll be responsible for setting and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness throughout the home, ensuring a comfortable environment for the people we support.

You will lead the brand new Housekeeping Team in our new state of the art purpose built home. You'll have the chance to really make your mark.

About The Role

Our Head Housekeeper plays a key role in leading all daily and weekly cleaning routines of their Housekeeping Team, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene

No two days will ever be the same, but your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• carrying out cleaning schedules with your team, including dusting, mopping, polishing and vacuuming
• overseeing your team's cleaning of all areas, including residents' rooms, lounges, kitchens, bathrooms, kitchens and offices
• building trust and promoting choice, dignity and independence.
