Job summary

Care UK is seeking a Head Housekeeper to lead the housekeeping team and uphold exceptional cleaning and hygiene standards across the care home. You will supervise staff, support their development, and ensure residents' needs are met while maintaining high laundry standards.

Regular attendance at resident and relative meetings, and responsibility for rota and budget management in the housekeeping department are key aspects of this role.

Responsibilities

• Lead the housekeeping team and oversee daily duties.
• Maintain high cleaning and hygiene standards within the home.
• Supervise staff and support their development.
• Understand residents' needs and ensure they are met.
• Ensure laundry of residents' clothing is of the highest standard.
• Attend resident and relative meetings.
• Manage rota and budget for the housekeeping team.
