Job summary

Ashlynn Grange Care Home in Peterborough is seeking a Head Housekeeper to lead the housekeeping team and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness across the home.

You will oversee laundry and domestic services, manage rotas and budgets, and train staff to deliver outstanding resident care with a compassionate approach.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar position, with proven experience managing a team, budgets and targets.
• A passion for care - we are looking for a genuinely caring individual who will put residents' needs first.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage overall responsibility for support services within the home for laundry and domestic housekeeping.
• Support the management team in the recruitment, induction and training of the support service team; ensuring training targets are met and team is competent in their roles.

• Support, lead, manage and inspire direct reports to deliver outstanding service for the home.

As a Head Housekeeper at Ashlynn Grange Care Home, you will be responsible for ensuring a high quality of cleanliness within the home.

Ashlynn Grange is an exceptional 153-bed care home in Peterborough. The home prides itself on the surrounding gardens that grow flowers and a variety of different vegetables.

The level of care at Ashlynn Grange is exceptional, and all staff love to keep residents entertained with a full programme of activities and live performances on our outdoor stage. Our newly refurbished café is available to our residents and their visitors, serving a variety of fresh tea, coffee and cakes daily.

About The Role

Leading our Housekeeping team, the Head Housekeeper is responsible for ensuring the highest service standards of cleaning to provide a clean, safe and welcoming environment for our residents and visitors.

Salary

£13.19 per hour.

Shift Pattern

37.5 hours per week, worked on a rota basis from Monday to Sunday.

Home Location

Bretton Gate, Peterborough, PE3 9UZ.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
