Job summary

PGG is seeking a Head Gardener to lead an 8-acre Arts and Crafts garden near Cirencester. You’ll head a small team, oversee integration with volunteers and a part-time groundsperson, and foster an inspiring, hands-on garden environment.

You will contribute to a program of Garden Talk Days and external visits, with opportunities to raise your horticultural profile and participate in ongoing training and development.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on garden management experience.
• Must have RHS Level 2 and preferably Level 3.
• Ability to work in harmony as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead on management and development with the owners and a full-time skilled gardener.
• Work with volunteers and a part-time groundsperson as part of the team.
• Engage with Garden Talk Days and events involving notable speakers.
