Qualifications

• Strong experience in children's gymnastics coaching and programme design.
• Relevant qualification in Sports Science, Coaching, or Physical Education.
• Gymnastics coaching award (minimum Level 2).
• Valid First Aid and Safeguarding training needed.

Hours: Part Time Flexible hours, (including some evenings & weekends)

Are you passionate about gymnastics, child development, and leading a fun, energetic team? Balance & Beam is looking for an inspiring Head Coach & Programme Director & to lead their exciting children's gymnastics programmes for ages 4 months to 12 years.

Job Description

• Plan, deliver, and review engaging gymnastics and child development sessions.
• Lead by example, coaching children, supporting parents, and mentoring your coaching team.
• Develop and manage lesson plans using the RISE coaching portal.
• Ensure sessions are fun, safe, and tailored to each age group.
• Manage, train, and inspire your team of senior, assistant, and junior coaches.
• Oversee health, safety, and safeguarding across all programmes.
• Communicate clearly with parents and staff, keeping progress records up to date.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in children's gymnastics coaching and programme design.
• Relevant qualification in Sports Science, Coaching, or Physical Education (or equivalent).
• Gymnastics coaching award (minimum Level 2).
• Valid First Aid and Safeguarding training (or willingness to obtain).
• Enhanced DBS check required (or willingness to obtain).
