Overview

A Head Chef position is available at an award winning four star luxury hotel, which is part of a successful group. The hotel is a busy dining venue with a 2 AA rosette fine dining restaurant serving fresh, modern dishes. The hotel also offers a more relaxed dining menu in the bar and hosts private events, weddings and conference and exclusive afternoon teas. This Head Chef role will require you to adapt to a number of different cooking styles whilst maintaining the day to day management of the kitchen and the supervision of the team of 10 chefs in the kitchen.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the kitchen on a day-to-day basis and supervise a team of 10 chefs.
  • Adapt to multiple cooking styles to support both fine dining and relaxed dining offerings.
  • Oversee planning and execution for private events, weddings, conferences, and exclusive afternoon teas.
Requirements
  • CVs will be considered from Head Chefs with experience in busy corporate kitchens serving multiple dining operations and busy banqueting operations for a minimum of 2 years.
  • Ideally minimum of 2 Rosette experience.
  • Proven drive and ability to push forward standards, develop junior staff, and maintain high food standards.
