Overview

We are always looking for passionate and experienced Head Chefs to strengthen our teams across our sites, helping to overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations. In the Head Chef role you will be responsible for menu planning, food preparation, staff management, stock control, and ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, food quality and presentation.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and design menus with the Directors that align with our concept and meet customer preferences.
  • Supervise food preparation and cooking activities to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Train, motivate, and manage kitchen staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain efficient operations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations.
  • Collaborate with management to develop and implement cost-effective strategies for maximising profitability.
  • Stay current with industry trends and continuously seek opportunities for improvement.

Due to the rural location of our pubs, it would be an advantage that candidates either drive or have a reliable way of commuting as public transport can be inconsistent.
