Sodexo invites applications for Head Chef at Wellington College in Crowthorne. The role leads a high-volume kitchen serving 3,300 meals daily across breakfast, lunch and dinner, with four Shift Leaders and 15+ culinary staff.

You’ll drive culinary ambition at scale, ensure quality, and manage costs and safety, while delivering premium education catering. The salary is £55,000 per annum with excellent benefits, 40 hours per week, five days out of seven, including evenings and weekends as

Formación

• Proven track record as Head Chef or senior culinary leader.
• Experience in high-volume kitchen, premium hospitality or multi-outlet operation.
• NVQ Level 2/3 or City & Guilds professional cookery or equivalent qualification.
• Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills.

Responsabilidades

• Culinary direction and innovation: develop contemporary menus balancing creativity, nutrition, seasonality and value.
• Leadership and team development: lead and empower kitchen brigade, recruit and manage performance.
• Operational and commercial excellence: manage menu costing, budgets, stock and waste.
• Relationships and dining experience: work with Executive Head Chef and stakeholders to deliver exceptional meals.
