Job Responsibilities
  • Plan, create, and update menus based on seasonality, guest preferences, and cost efficiency.
  • Recruit, train, supervise, and manage kitchen staff, including delegating tasks and resolving conflicts.
  • Ensure kitchen staff adhere to quality, hygiene, and cleanliness standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety, hygiene, and health regulations (e.g., HACCP standards).
  • Manage food inventory, order supplies, liaise with suppliers, and maintain profit margins.
  • Oversee the maintenance of kitchen equipment and organize repairs as needed.
Qualifications
  • Extensive knowledge of food and cooking techniques, including culinary creativity.
  • Meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of the job.
  • Genuine interest in cooking and enthusiasm for learning in a professional kitchen.
  • Some previous kitchen experience is a plus; willingness to work hard and learn is essential.
