Compass Group UK in Leeds is seeking an experienced Head Chef to lead a busy kitchen operation delivering fresh, high-quality food across retail and hospitality services.

You’ll own day-to-day running of the kitchen, ensuring high standards in food quality, service, hygiene and safety, and develop seasonal menus while managing stock and costs. This Monday to Friday role offers a strong work-life balance and a professional catering environment.

Qualificações

• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Experience in menu planning and seasonal menu development.
• Knowledge of stock management, purchasing and food cost control.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Experience working to food safety and HACCP standards.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and motivate a small kitchen team, creating a positive working environment.
• Oversee day-to-day kitchen operation and ensure smooth, efficient service.
• Prepare and deliver fresh, high-quality food across retail, hospitality and events.
• Create and develop seasonal menus that are exciting and commercially focused.
• Support corporate hospitality and events with high-quality food and service.
• Manage stock, ordering, and waste to achieve GP targets.
• Maintain HACCP and food safety standards.
