Restaurant Associates currently seeks a Contract Catering Head Chef for a newly mobilised Manchester site. You will take overall responsibility for a busy staff dining kitchen, lead a talented team, and drive excellent food quality across high-volume operations on launch.

We value strong leadership, a passion for high-quality food and the ability to mentor others while delivering exciting, healthy menus and outstanding service.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior Sous Chef, Head Chef or similar senior kitchen position.
• Minimum 2 years at Head Chef level.
• Experience within B&I, corporate or contract catering.
• Strong experience working within high-volume kitchen environments.
• Excellent leadership, communication and team management skills.
• Genuine passion for high-quality food and creative menu development.
• Good knowledge of healthy eating and contemporary food trends.
• Confidence and drive to take ownership of a kitchen and make a new site your own.

• Take overall responsibility for a full production kitchen within a busy staff dining environment.
• Lead the kitchen team, set high standards and create a positive, motivated culture.
• Manage hospitality, events and functions, ensuring consistently high-quality service.
• Deliver exceptional food standards across a high-volume operation.
• Develop and mentor your team, supporting progression and development.
• Create fresh, healthy and innovative menus reflecting current food trends.
• Get hands-on across all areas of the kitchen operation when required.
• Drive consistency, efficiency and excellent food quality.
• Work closely with the wider team to ensure smooth mobilisation and ongoing site success.
