We are currently looking for an experienced Head Chef to join COYA.
Experience you will need:
  • Minimum 5 year of previous experience in a similar role in high-end brand
  • Previous experience in pre-opening
  • Relevant experience in a high-volume, high end kitchen environment and attention to detail
  • To have excellent knowledge of food preparation, including working with limitations such as allergies
  • To hold overall responsibility for kitchen staffing levels, keeping them in line with business trends whilst maintaining the highest standards of service and quality and adhering to agreed labour budget
  • To be responsible for managing all staffing issues within the Kitchen department including rotas, hiring, holiday cover, in-house training, professional development, performance management and day-to-day feedback on performance
  • To consistently foster a spirit of harmony and cohesion between the kitchen brigade and all other departments
  • To have a complete understanding and comply with the Company policies relating to Fire, Hygiene, Health and Safety
  • To be friendly, attentive and customer service focused
  • It is essential to have a high level of both spoken and written Spanish and English
