Job summary

The Coaching Inn Group is seeking a Head Chef Designate to lead the kitchen when the Head Chef is unavailable. You will oversee menu development, ensure exceptional food quality, and maintain strict hygiene standards across our kitchens.

You will mentor and develop a talented team, drive operational performance, and contribute to the group’s reputation for memorable hospitality and fresh, high-quality dishes.

Qualifications

• Senior kitchen leadership experience in a quality fresh food hotel or hospitality business.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the kitchen team while the Head Chef is out of the business.
• Devise and deliver creative menus and ensure high standards of food quality and consistency.
• Enforce food safety, HACCP compliance and kitchen operations.

Job description

We are looking for a talented Head Chef Designate to join us in leading the kitchen team.

You will be managing and leading the kitchen whilst our Head Chef is out of the business. You will have had previous experience in a senior kitchen role in a quality fresh food hotel or hospitality business. You will relish the creative aspect of devising new menus and delivering outstanding food, but will also be able to manage a team, and deliver all the compliance needed in a kitchen environment.
