Aramark UK are currently recruiting a Head Chef to join our team working in Dishforth Airfield, Thirsk.
You will be responsible for the kitchen operation, cost efficiency, and production of innovative quality food/menus in line with agreed budgets to improve sales.

- This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week, various shift patterns are available, and some weekend shifts may be required.
- £15.45 per hour (£32,240 per annum)

A day in the life of a Head Chef
- Managing chefs across two kitchens on site.
- Managing and ordering stock.
- Undertaking stock takes.
- Producing menu signage for Front of House.
- Managing menu cycles and food offerings.
- Ensuring all kitchen teams follow Aramark and food safety policies and procedures.
You will be set up for success if you have
- NVQ Levels 1 & 2 in culinary skills.
- Clean Enhanced DBS.
- Experience in a similar educational environment.
- Can do attitude with a willingness to learn. Proactive in attitude.
- Lived in UK for the past 3 years and have legal right to work in the UK and be able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.
