The Copthorne Hotel Slough-Windsor is looking for a Head Chef who will be responsible for ensuring maximum guest satisfaction by planning, organising, directing and controlling food production for the Retrouve and Bombay Pavilion. Ideal candidate must have minimum 3 years of Head Chef experience in the Hospitality field.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all production functions of the kitchen and the kitchen staff.
  • Motivate, develop and train supervisors and culinary staff to meet and exceed established food preparation standards.
  • Exhibit exceptional leadership by providing a positive work environment, counselling employees as appropriate and demonstrating a dedicated and professional approach to management.
  • Reviews staffing levels to ensure that guest service, operational needs and financial objectives are met.
  • Ensure the correct procedures are followed while maintaining high standards at all times.
  • Actively involved in menu development and calculates food costs for all menu items.
  • Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and Food Safety requirement.
Essential Skills Required
  • Has experience and understanding of food mass production.
  • Passionate about food, with a charismatic, vibrant & high energy approach.
  • Excellent knowledge of food hygiene & handling complex dietary requirements including allergies and intolerances.
  • Experience in leading, motivating and inspiring a team.
