Job summary

Apleona Hsg Facility Management seeks a Head Chef in Runcorn (WA7 1NT) to lead and deliver catering provisions with a focus on service quality and value for money.

You will manage and develop teams, drive innovation and cost improvement while maintaining high health and safety standards. This client-facing role requires strong leadership and a commitment to excellent customer care across staff, dignitaries and the public. The role offers Monday–Friday hours and a salary of £36,000 per annum.

Qualifications

• Level 2+ Food Safety training or higher.
• Experience at a management level within a catering environment.
• Demonstrable experience catering for varying customer numbers.
• Knowledge of health & safety, food safety and HACCP regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop the catering teams to ensure excellent service.
• Assist in delivery and management of catering provisions with a focus on innovation, cost reduction and value for money.
• Ensure client and customers are satisfied through effective communication and engagement.

We’re currently looking to recruit a Head Chef who will assist in the delivery and management of catering provisions, with a high degree of customer care and service at all times. The role will be pivotal in facilitating our objectives of innovation, improved service delivery, cost reduction and value for money.

It is an important part of the role to manage, support and develop the teams within your sphere of responsibility, to ensure responsive, well-motivated and customer focused staff provide excellent catering services to all customers including staff, dignitaries and members of the public.

This key customer facing role will be critical to ensuring that the client, their teams and all customers are satisfied with the services provided by FoodSpace and feel adequately engaged via appropriate communications.

As an Apleona Head Chef, we’re looking for:

• Level 2 or above Food Safety training
• Experience at a management level within a catering environment.
• Demonstrable experience within a catering environment catering for small and large customer numbers.
• Knowledge and awareness of health & safety, food safety and HACCP legislation and regulations.

We’ll make sure that you have everything you need to do a great job. You will ideally already have a proven track record of relevant experience in senior roles in similar high quality catering operations.
