The Fox At Crouch End in London is seeking a dynamic Head Chef to lead a gastro pub kitchen and craft fresh, seasonal dishes. You will manage a busy team, ensure high standards, and drive GP with efficient stock control.

Qualifications

• Head Chef with gastro pub experience and a track record in leading busy kitchens.
• Experience using fresh ingredients and seasonal menus.
• Clear understanding of Health and Safety procedures in a professional kitchen.
• Proven ability to control stock and gross profit (GP).
• Background in high-volume kitchen environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the kitchen team to deliver high-quality dishes.
• Monitor stock levels and GP, optimize wastage and ordering.
• Train and inspire team; maintain consistent standards.
• Develop and implement seasonal menus and specials.

• An enthusiastic, dynamic and qualified Head Chef who is ready for a new challenge..
• Able to demonstrate your experience of working with fresh ingredients and seasonal menus..
• Able to demonstrate experience of working in a professional kitchen showing a clear understanding of Health and Safety..
• Able to show a proven track record of managing the kitchen and controlling stock and GP..
• Someone with a background of dealing with high volume..
• Able to show technical skill and attention to detail.
• Able to spot and resolve problems efficiently..
• Confident in your communication skills and ability to lead and motivate their teams..
