Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Head Chef to lead the kitchen team at Unilever 100VE, London. You will drive creative menus, ensure top-quality food and outstanding service across workplace dining and events. This role demands strong kitchen leadership and a passion for excellence.

As Head Chef, you’ll develop and supervise daily production, control food costs, manage stock, and uphold safety standards. A dynamic, hands-on leader with clear communication will thrive in this environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a kitchen team as a Head Chef or comparable senior culinary role.
• A passion for fresh, well‑presented food and excellent service.
• The ability to organise daily food production alongside hospitality and event requirements.
• A practical understanding of food safety, allergens and kitchen health and safety.
• Confidence managing stock, food costs and waste.
• Clear communication skills and a supportive approach to team leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day kitchen operations, delivering consistently high-quality food.

Location: Unilever 100VE, 100 Victoria Embankment, London, EC4Y 0DY
Salary: £50,000–£60,000 per annum
Hours: 40 hours per week, five days per week
Working pattern: 07:00–16:00, with overtime as required
Contract: Permanent, full time

This is an opportunity for an experienced chef who enjoys developing a team, creating appealing menus and making every service count.
