Qualifications

  • Must have experience as a Head Chef in a care home or similar environment.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a kitchen team effectively.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety standards in food preparation.

PSR Solutions is working with a well-regarded care home to recruit an experienced Head Chef in Eye, Suffolk. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate culinary professional to lead a kitchen team and deliver nutritious, high-quality meals that support residents' health and well‑being.


Reporting to the Home Manager, you will manage the day‑to‑day kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, staff supervision, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. You will cater to residents’ dietary needs while creating a positive and enjoyable dining experience.


Skills Required


  • Previous experience as a Head Chef in a similar setting

  • Strong leadership and team management skills

  • Good understanding of nutrition, allergens, and food safety regulations

  • NVQ Level 3 in Catering or equivalent (desirable)
