Calling all Late Night ‘Nightlife Aficionados’

Head Bartender, Sweeties · £16.59 – £17.36 per hour incl. Tronc (equivalent to £34.5k – £36.1k) plus Tips & Benefits · Set working days: Wednesday – Saturday (plus Prep day) · Late Night Venue open until 3:00am Thursday – Saturday · Kings Cross

As Head Bartender at Sweeties, you will oversee a specialist drinks service from sunset cocktails to late-night lounge and party vibes. Enjoy floor-to-ceiling views and a vibrant soundtrack curated by our Music & Culture team.

Do you have what it takes to be Sweeties Head Bartender?

We are looking for someone passionate about service, with excellent knowledge of bar operations, cocktails, spirits, champagne, and wines. You should be able to guide and train the team, make recommendations, and create signature cocktails alongside classics, ensuring quality and compliance.

Most importantly, you will be a welcoming host, making guests feel at home in our energetic city venue. You need to be social, upbeat, friendly, confident, organized, and able to handle pressure in a high-volume environment.

Your role

While design and guest experience are key, we value personality and engagement. We seek individuals with genuine service flair and relationship-building skills. Essential requirements include:

• Experience as a Head Bartender, Bar Supervisor, or Senior Cocktail Bartender in busy bars, boutique hotels, or destination cocktail bars
• Confidence in bar operations, well-versed in both classic and contemporary cocktails, and understanding of the London bar scene
• Highly social, motivated, proactive, professional, and positive
• Experience with cocktail prep, opening, requisitions, and compliance preferred
• Familiarity with Squirrel epos, Birchstreet, and Sevenrooms is advantageous; training will be provided
• Full-time availability (Wed-Sat), flexible with late-night shifts (up to 3am Thu-Sat)
