Job summary

GAIL’s Bread in Bristol is seeking a Head Baker who can lead, train and inspire others to deliver our fresh bread and cakes to high standards. You will manage early shifts (approx 5:30am–6:30am), prove and bake items for our displays, and ensure you and your team follow food safety and quality guidelines.

As a Head Baker you’ll be a positive role model with strong organisation and clear communication, driving performance, developing colleagues, and upholding the GAIL’s commitment to great food

Qualifications

• Proven leadership skills and ability to develop others.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Willingness to start early and manage bakery operations.

Responsibilities

• Proving and baking items for displays.
• Ensure product knowledge of Gail's Bread range.
• Lead bakery team and maintain food safety standards.
• Deliver high standards of fresh bread and cakes.
