Job summary

A leading recruitment firm is searching for an experienced HCM Fusion Absence, Payroll and Performance Functional Consultant to implement Oracle Fusion HCM solutions for UK clients. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in Oracle Fusion HCM for the public sector. Responsibilities include leading implementations, conducting testing, and preparing training content. This position is based in London/Leeds, with a competitive salary of £70K-£80K per annum plus a bonus.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

HCM Fusion Absence, Payroll and Performance Functional Consultant
London/Leeds - Candidate must travel 2-3 days every alternative week to Leeds
Permanent
£70K-£80K per annum base + 15% bonus (7-10 years experience)

Spinwell is recruiting for an HCM Fusion Absence, Payroll and Performance Functional Consultant for an excellent opportunity within the private sector.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE HCM FUSION ABSENCE, PAYROLL AND PERFORMANCE FUNCTIONAL CONSULTANT
  • Lead and execute the implementation of Oracle Fusion HCM, specifically on Core HR, Absence, Payroll and Performance for UK clients.
  • Apply hands‑on experience in Core HR, Payroll and Performance, particularly within the UK Public sector.
  • Conduct System Integration Testing, support User Acceptance testing and Payroll Parallel Reconciliation (PPR) and support hyper care.
  • Utilize extensive knowledge of HCM technical tools, including HCM Data Loader (HDL), HCM Extract, BI reporting, Fast Formulas, and Payroll Batch Loader.
  • Effectively discuss complex technology solutions to diverse audiences, including technical, business, and management teams, walkthrough of Business Process Specification documents, Configuration Workbooks, Testing, Change Requests.
  • Lead customer discussions pertaining to integrations, data migrations, and reports related to Core HR, Payroll and Performance and other relevant modules.
  • Apply comprehensive knowledge and experience across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including Conference Room pilots (CRPs)/Playback sessions, training content preparation and imparting Training.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE HCM FUSION ABSENCE, PAYROLL AND PERFORMANCE FUNCTIONAL CONSULTANT
  • Should have a minimum of 10+ years of experience in implementing Oracle Fusion HCM for Core HR, Absence, Payroll and Performance for UK Public Sector clients.
  • Knowledgeable on HCM technical tools including HCM Data loader (HDL), HCM Extract, BI reporting, Fast Formulae, Payroll batch loader.
  • Ability to communicate complex technology solutions to diverse teams namely, technical, business and management teams.
  • Ability to lead the discussions with the customer teams for integrations, data migrations and reports related to Core HR, Payroll and Performance and other modules.
  • Knowledge and experience with full SDLC lifecycle.
  • Preparation of Status reports with RAG, highlighting risks and mitigations and maintaining RAID log.
