Job description

We are currently seeking compassionate, reliable, and experienced Band 2 Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) to join our dedicated team, providing high-quality care across 10 care homes and respite centres in the Hampshire area. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of vulnerable individuals while working in a dynamic and supportive environment.

You will work as part of a wider multi-disciplinary team, delivering personal care, promoting independence, and ensuring the physical and emotional well‑being of service users.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high‑quality, person‑centred care in line with individual care plans
  • Support residents with personal care tasks including washing, dressing, feeding, and toileting
  • Assist with mobility and use of appropriate equipment (hoists, wheelchairs, etc.)
  • Monitor and record observations such as temperature, pulse, and respiration rates
  • Engage in meaningful interactions with residents to support emotional well‑being
  • Maintain accurate and timely care records in accordance with company policy
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals and family members
  • Ensure a safe, clean, and dignified environment for all residents
Requirements:
  • Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience working in a care home, nursing home, or respite centre
  • A caring and empathetic approach to support service users
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Flexibility to work across multiple sites (travel between locations required)
  • Right to work in the UK
