Brooklands Hospital in Solihull is seeking compassionate Healthcare Assistants to support adolescents on secure wards, focusing on learning disability and autism services.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team to provide person-centred care, assist with therapeutic activities, promote independence, and help maintain a safe environment while supporting patients in their recovery.

Job description

We're looking for compassionate, motivated Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) to join our secure, adolescent and assessment and treatment wards at Brooklands Hospital in Solihull, a centre of excellence for learning disability and autism services. As an HCA, you'll play a vital role in supporting people with a learning disability and Autistic people, helping them feel safe, valued and supported throughout their recovery. You'll build trusting relationships, promote independence and deliver high-quality, person-centred care. Working as part of a skilled multidisciplinary team, you'll support therapeutic interventions, meaningful daily activities, and help maintain a safe and secure environment.

We're looking for people who are passionate about reducing health inequalities, promoting inclusion and improving outcomes. Whether you have experience as a Healthcare Assistant, Support Worker, or caring for someone with a learning disability or autism, we'd love to hear from you.
