Rates: £12.21-£23.50
Shifts: Day shifts: 07.00‑15.00, 12.30‑20.30, 07.00‑20.30
Location: Cheadle Community Hospital
Working flexible shifts on various wards throughout Haywood Hospital you will provide essential care and support to people when they are feeling unwell, vulnerable and unsure. Your role is vital to ensuring the best possible care experience for patients.

As a new HCA you’ll be supported to complete the Care Certificate, opening up further NHS and care industry opportunities. Experienced HCAs can pursue qualifications such as the NCFE CACHE Level 2 Certificate in Healthcare Support Services and the NCFE CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Healthcare Support.
Progression possibilities include Senior Healthcare Assistant, Assistant Practitioner or Nursing Associate, and ultimately roles such as Nurse, Midwife or Doctor.
Cheerful, friendly, empathetic, and patient – these personal qualities are key. Natural caring skills often outweigh academic expertise in this role.
