Job description

Part Time Hatchery Operative — Temporary Ongoing — 3 – 5 days per week (Mon – Fri) — Own Transport — £13.08 per hour (£17.05ph overtime rate)

Our Grantham client is looking to recruit a Part time Hatchery Operative to join their existing team.

Hours can start anywhere from 4am – 6am and finish from – 12.30pm – 2.30pm ideally 3 days per week but can increase to 5 when required, 8hours shifts. Must be flexible to work 5 days.

Duties in the hatchery

• Care of live chicks and to ensure that 100% welfare is maintained at all times.
• You will be counting eggs, moving the chicks around, placing them in different areas and cleaning.
• All PPE will be provided.

Skills required

• Able to be flexible with start time and days.
• Have a good level of English for reading, writing and speaking.
• Own transport.
• Team player.
