Job summary

Pilgrim's Europe is seeking an Assistant Hatchery Manager at Donaghmore Hatchery, Tyrone. This is a hands-on leadership role within our hatchery team, responsible for ensuring smooth egg handling, incubation, and chick dispatch.

You will train and supervise staff, coordinate transport of eggs and chicks, monitor biosecurity and hygiene, and maintain equipment and records. A relevant qualification and driving licence are desirable.

Qualifications

• People management experience.
• Valid driving license for transport coordination.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Computer literacy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Desirable: third-level qualification in a relevant field.
• Desirable: poultry management or livestock handling experience.
• Desirable: basic mechanical aptitude.
