Job Responsibilities:

1. Project management.
2. Designing electronic circuits and assemblies from concept to production release and maintenance.
3. Debugging, simulation, and validation of electronic and system designs.
4. Testing and reporting results to the development team.
5. Reliability and regulatory testing of products.
6. Creating technical documentation.
7. Providing design data packs to production for manufacturing and support during product lifecycle.
8. Obsolescence management and support of legacy products.
9. Occasional UK and international travel.
10. Demonstrable electrical/electronic engineering experience in an industrial environment.
11. Experience in microcontroller, mixed analogue, and digital circuit designs.
12. Ability to manage projects including budget, schedule control/monitoring, and cost reduction programs.
13. Understanding of product design from specification through to delivery, considering DFT and DFM.
14. Practical experience in schematics capture, layout, and PCB design tools.
15. Good prototyping skills and soldering with SMT components.
16. Excellent debugging skills, ability to integrate and validate electronic and system designs.
17. Knowledge and experience in RoHS, EMC/LVD regulatory testing, and CE product approval process.
18. Programming knowledge of FPGAs using Verilog.
19. Creating and maintaining technical documentation.
20. Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
