Job summary

Time Recruitment Solutions Limited is hiring a Handyman / Skilled Labourer for a busy commercial construction project in Deeside Industrial Park, Flintshire. You will perform finishing and maintenance tasks under the Site Manager, including joinery, skirting, plastering, painting, snagging and general finishing.

The role offers an immediate start and weekend work optional. Competitive pay at £19.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience as handyman or skilled labourer on construction sites.
• CSCS card and full PPE required.
• Own basic hand tools and power tools.
• Able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Reliable and hardworking.

Responsibilities

• Carry out basic joinery tasks on site.
• Install skirting boards as required.
• Patch plastering and making good on finished areas.
• Paint and decorate interior surfaces as needed.
• General snagging and finishing tasks to a high standard.
• Assist with first-fix and second-fix duties when required.

Handyman / Skilled Labourer

Deeside, Flintshire /£19.00 per hour /Immediate Start Available/Commercial New Build Project

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Handyman / Skilled Labourer to join a busy commercial construction project based in Deeside Industrial Park, Flintshire. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a well-established contractor on a long-term new build development, offering competitive rates and a supportive site team.

The Role

As a Handyman, you will be carrying out a variety of finishing and maintenance tasks on site, working under the direction of the Site Manager. Duties will include:

• Basic joinery works


• Installation of skirting boards


• Patch plastering and making good


• Painting and decorating touch-ups


• General snagging and finishing tasks


• Assisting with first-fix and second-fix duties where required


• Completing additional skilled tasks as instructed by site management


• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have:

• Previous experience as a Handyman or Skilled Labourer within construction


• Experience in basic joinery, patch plastering and painting


• Own basic hand and power tools


• Valid CSCS Card


• Full PPE (Hard Hat, Hi-Vis Vest and Safety Boots)


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team


• Reliable and hardworking attitude

Working Hours
