Job summary

3D Personnel Ltd in Cardiff is seeking two Handyman / General Builders to repair and maintain tenanted properties across Cardiff.

The role offers long-term, full-time work with potential for permanent employment and requires security vetting. 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with weekly payroll and dedicated support from the 3D Personnel team.

Applicants should be multi-skilled with joinery, tiling and maintenance abilities, and be comfortable using a PDA for work management.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine repairs and maintenance in occupied and vacant properties.
• Complete general building and fabric repairs to required standards and timescales.
• Undertake joinery, tiling and general maintenance tasks.
• Carry out minor plumbing and plastering repairs where competent.
• Maintain tools, equipment, materials and company property.
• Follow Health & Safety policies, risk assessments and method statements.
• Work in accordance with instructions from line management and Central Coordination Team.
• Complete out-of-hours call-outs as required by the rota.
• Record and manage work assignments on PDA.

The Role

3D Personnel are currently recruiting 2 Handymen / General Builders to carry out repairs and maintenance to tenanted properties across Cardiff.

This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced, multi-skilled tradespeople looking for long-term work with the potential for permanent employment.

Security Clearance Required: Due to the nature of the work, applicants must be able to pass the required security vetting. Please be aware that the clearance process can take several months before a successful applicant is confirmed.

Duties & Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include:

Carrying out routine repairs and maintenance in occupied and vacant properties.
Completing general building and property fabric repairs to the required standard and within agreed timescales.
Undertaking joinery, tiling and general maintenance tasks.
Carrying out minor plumbing and plastering repairs where competent.
Maintaining tools, equipment, materials and company property.
Following all company Health & Safety policies, risk assessments and method statements.
Working in accordance with instructions from line management and the Central Coordination Team.
Completing out-of-hours call-outs as required by the rota.
Using a PDA device to record and manage work assignments.

Skills & Experience Required

We're looking for reliable, practical and multi-skilled individuals with experience in property maintenance or general building.
