Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in Wirral is recruiting a reliable Production / Process Operative for a busy manufacturing operation. You will operate process equipment, monitor production activity and ensure products are manufactured safely, efficiently and to quality standards.

This hands-on role suits someone with experience in manufacturing or process environments, with good attention to detail, ability to follow SOPs, and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing, production or process environment.
• Experience operating production machinery or process equipment.
• Good understanding of health and safety within an industrial environment.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and written instructions.
• Good attention to detail and awareness of quality standards.
• A practical, hands-on approach to work.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• The ability to work reliably within a fast-paced production environment.
• Experience within materials manufacturing, plastics, food, FMCG, industrial manufacturing or a similar process-driven environment would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Operate production and process equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follow production schedules, operating procedures and work instructions.
• Monitor machinery and production processes to ensure consistent output.
• Carry out basic machine and process adjustments where required.
• Ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining quality standards.
• Carry out routine quality checks and accurately record results.
• Identify and report production, process or quality issues.
• Escalate equipment faults or breakdowns to the Team Leader or Supervisor.
• Complete production paperwork and process documentation accurately.
• Handle raw materials and finished products safely.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping within the production area.
• Follow all health and safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE.
• Support changeovers, cleaning and basic equipment checks.
• Work closely with Team Leaders, Supervisors, Quality and Maintenance teams.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve safety, quality and productivity.
