Job summary

Morgan Jones Recruitment Consultants is recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business in Chatham for a Paint Shop Operative. The role involves preparing components for coating, applying finishes, and supporting the paint shop team in a busy production environment. Location is Chatham, Kent.

The salary is £13.07 per hour, with a 37.5 hour week, Monday to Friday 8:00am–4:00pm. Full training is provided and regular overtime opportunities are available.

Qualifications

Experience in manufacturing/production is beneficial but not required.
Prev o r coating/painting experience is an advantage.
Willingness to learn and training will be provided.

Responsibilities

Prepare components for the coating process
Package finished parts ready for dispatch
Support coating and paint shop operations
Hand blast components to specification
Carry out product quality inspections
Complete production paperwork accurately
Follow work instructions and production schedules
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Work collaboratively to achieve daily targets
Adhere to all health and safety procedures
