The job is workshop-based, requiring use of hand tools, attention to detail and reliability. Hours typically 8:00am–4:30pm or 5:00pm with paid breaks and occasional overtime.

Qualifications

• Practical ability, attention to detail essential.
• Experience with mechanical assembly and hand tools preferred.
• Willingness to learn and reliability required.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out hands-on mechanical assembly using a variety of hand tools.
• Screwing, fitting and securing panels, components and fittings.
• Following CAD drawings to assemble components correctly.
• Working to specified measurements and tolerances.
• Assisting with pipework fitting and mechanical fittings.
• Checking assemblies to ensure specifications are met.
• Using hand tools safely and correctly.
• Supporting wider team with workshop duties.
• Occasional warehouse and ad-hoc duties as required.
• Maintaining clean, safe, organised work areas.
