Consult in London or Bradford is seeking an Information Security & GRC Consultant to lead security governance, risk, and M&A due diligence across a complex enterprise.

The role is hybrid (2 days on-site) with a day rate of £650 inside IR35 for an initial 6-month contract, with potential extension or permanent conversion. You will implement ISO 27001 and SOC 2 programs and drive remediation and audit readiness.

Qualificações

• Proven hands-on experience implementing ISO 27001 and SOC 2.
• Experience conducting M&A security due diligence.
• Strong governance, risk management and compliance background.
• Experience building or operating security frameworks in complex organisations.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to drive actions to completion.
• Desirable: business continuity or disaster recovery programs.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct cyber security risk assessments and due diligence for M&A.
• Maintain and enhance ISO 27001 and SOC 2 controls.
• Develop security policies, standards, and risk registers.
• Lead business continuity and disaster recovery activities.
• Perform third-party security assessments across the supply chain.
• Prepare for audits and gather evidence for audit readiness.
• Deliver security awareness to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
