Job summary

VGC Group is recruiting a Multi-Skilled Groundworker in Abingdon for an immediate contract role. Tasks include groundworks, concrete finishing, plant operation and assisting other trades to meet project deadlines.

The role requires CSCS, CPCS/NPORS Traffic Marshall, and Cat & Genny qualifications, with baseline site experience. On-site work with PPE and strict safety procedures is expected.

Qualifications

• Groundworker with at least 2 years' experience.
• Ability to work safely and follow site procedures.
• Capable of coordinating with other trades on site.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of groundworks tasks including concrete finishing and plant operations.
• Maintain and repair buildings, infrastructure and equipment.
• Ensure work meets project standards and safety requirements.
• Support team to meet deadlines and minimize waste.
• Communicate clearly with supervisors and colleagues on site.
