Job summary

Avanti Recruitment is seeking an Electronics Engineer for a growing specialist engineering company that designs and manufactures automated systems for testing high-performance PCBs in Macclesfield. You’ll join a small development team, hands-on across analogue and digital electronics, high-speed PCBs, and embedded firmware.

The role offers a salary of £50,000–£65,000 depending on experience, 40-hour week with flexible start times, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, and a performance-related

Qualifications

• Experience in analogue and digital electronics design.
• PCB design experience using Altium.
• Knowledge of high-speed electronics and impedance control.
• Understanding of signal integrity considerations.
• Experience with microcontrollers and embedded firmware development.
• Prototype development, testing and fault finding.
• Contributing to next-generation product development.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze analogue and digital electronics.
• PCB design using Altium.
• Develop high-speed, impedance-controlled PCBs.
• Ensure signal integrity across designs.
• Develop firmware for microcontrollers and embedded systems.
• Build prototypes and conduct testing to fault-find.
• Contribute to next-generation product development.
