Job summary

Pertemps Warrington is seeking an Assembly/Logistics Operative in Warrington to join a specialist distributor serving mental health and custodial environments. The role focuses on hands-on assembly, measuring, cutting, and preparing materials to precise specifications.

You will also help with stock management, dispatch, and occasional deliveries across the UK, with expenses covered for overnight travel. A DBS check is required and a full UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in assembly, manufacturing, production or engineering environments.
• DBS check required as part of recruitment.
• Comfortable with occasional overnight travel within the UK.
• Full clean UK driving licence and minimum 3 years driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components to create finished products to quality standards.
• Measure, cut and prepare materials to precise specifications.
• Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
• Assist with stock management, dispatch and occasional customer deliveries across the UK.
• Load/unload deliveries and use the stock management system.
• Pack, label and prepare items for dispatch.
• Participate in bi-annual stock takes and stock checks.
