Job summary

Sainsbury's in Birmingham is seeking a Team Manager to lead the warehouse teams and ensure daily operations meet high standards aligned with customer demand.

You will build strong relationships with stores and external partners, identify inefficiencies, and drive continuous improvement while supporting the People Plan and safety policies.

The ideal candidate is an experienced people leader with excellent communication and decision-making skills, thriving in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

  • Deliver consistent business performance and standards across the end-to-end warehouse operation.
  • Manage and maintain external relationships with stores and other stakeholders.
  • Identify efficiencies and continuous improvement opportunities to enhance operations.
  • Monitor and implement compliance and support the People Plan using an HR business model.

What You’ll be doing:
  • Manage the warehouse teams' daily activities, including resource allocation, capability, and deployment.
