Job summary

University of Nottingham is seeking a Porter and Building Attendant Supervisor to manage and develop teams across our Nottingham halls sites. You will oversee safety, security, and daily maintenance while delivering excellent student experiences. The role requires a proactive, hands-on leader capable of coordinating across locations.

Salary £26,908 to £28,890 per annum, depending on skills and experience. A full UK driving licence is essential due to travel between campuses.

• Experience leading teams in facilities or accommodation services.
• Strong focus on safety, service and student experience.
• Full UK driving license is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Porter & Building Attendant teams across Nottingham sites.
• Allocate resources to ensure efficient operations and coverage.
• Deliver training, team briefs and staff meetings to maintain standards.
• Monitor performance against service standards and safety requirements.
• Help improve working practices and systems of working across sites.
• Provide a reactive service across multiple University locations.
