Hair, Beauty and Media Make Up Lecturers and Assessors (BANK Workers)

Location: Rotherham College, South Yorkshire

Salary: £18.87 - £19.80 per hour plus holiday pay (dependant on Teaching Qualification)

Vacancy Type: Various hours to cover sickness & holidays, Casual hours

Rotherham Education Services (RES) supply casual and temporary staffing to the RNN Group. The RNN Group consists of Rotherham, Dearne Valley and North Notts colleges.

Are you passionate about supporting the learning journey of students within education?

You will deliver on a range of levels in Hair, Beauty or Media Make up at Rotherham College covering sickness or other absence. You will be working with students to ensure they achieve their best potential. In this role you can influence and contribute towards the College's provision in this key area. You will have the opportunity not only to impart your knowledge and expertise to college students, but ultimately will make an impact on the wider community.

You will play a key role in delivering outstanding quality teaching, learning and assessment which will support students to achieve their best no matter what their challenges are to do so, and present yourself as a positive role model to students.

The hours will be on a casual basis so we are looking for workers who will register with us. We will ensure that you are fully compliant to work so you can cover at short notice if and when required. The areas we would be looking for are:

  • Hair
  • Barbering
  • Beauty
  • Nails

Have you got what it takes to be successful?

You will

  • hold a teaching qualification or be working towards one (teaching) and/or an Assessors Award
  • hold an appropriate level professional qualification in either Hair or Beauty
  • have experience of teaching in a Further Education setting
  • be well organised and able to manage your own workload
