Job summary

AstraZeneca plc is seeking a Medical Science Liaison in Haematology to provide medical leadership across NHS haemato-oncology, improving patient care. The role is field-based across multiple regions in the UK, requiring strong stakeholder engagement and scientific communication.

Engage with clinicians and researchers, translate insights into action, and support evidence generation while adhering to ABPI guidelines and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Degree in life sciences or an equivalent clinical qualification.
• Experience in haematological malignancies.
• Customer-facing role in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Experience using insights, data and digital tools for field-based stakeholder engagement.
• Strong written, verbal and presentation skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset to identify opportunities.
• Understanding of evidence-based medicine in clinical practice.
• Knowledge of the ABPI Code of Practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead territory ecosystem planning through insight-led strategies and stakeholder partnerships.
• Identify opportunities for service improvement and support research and evidence generation.
• Collaborate across functions to translate field insights into action.
• Use digital channels and meaningful measures to demonstrate medical impact while complying with ABPI Code and UK regulations.
