Qualifications

• Duties include in-patient and out-patient care of haematology patients.
• Gains experience in laboratory aspects of haematology including transfusion and coagulation.
• Develop audit skills in both lab and clinical practice.

Responsibilities

• Work with the care team to manage in-patient haematology patients daily.
• Assess and manage day-care unit referrals with senior support as required.
• Maintain daily notes in patient records with legible signatures.
• Opportunity to perform bone marrow biopsy following appropriate training.
• Be part of a team including specialty doctors and consultants.
