Mediplacements are looking for an experienced band 6 Biomedical Scientist in Haematology for a job vacancy in Surrey. The pay for this position is up to GBP25 per hour, and we are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible for an ongoing duration.

Job Description

Ability to use Alinity Hq, Hs, Winpath, ACL TOPS 550, Neo Iris, cross‑matching and serology and able to work shifts.

The Candidate Will Be Responsible For
  • Performing and interpreting a range of laboratory tests on blood and other body fluids
  • Maintaining and troubleshooting laboratory equipment
  • Record keeping and quality control
  • Providing results and advice to medical staff
  • Participating in continuing education and training

The ideal candidate will be HCPC registered and fully competent in Haematology, Coagulation and Blood Transfusion, and will be able to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently.
