South Lanarkshire Council is seeking a Property Adviser to join the Property Information team at Council Headquarters, Hamilton. You will help maintain accurate information about land and property assets, creating digital mapping information and plans, and researching titles.

You will use technical, research and analytical skills, be comfortable handling data and plans, and work as part of a supportive team.

Work Pattern: Monday - Thursday 8.45am - 4.45pm, Friday 8.45am - 4.15pm

Salary: £42,228 - £43,158 per year

Housing & Technical Resources is seeking to appoint a Property Adviser to join our Property Information team. Reporting to the Section Leader (Property Information and Legislative Compliance), you will play an important role in maintaining accurate information about the Council's land and property assets.

You will use a combination of technical, research and analytical skills to support the management of property information, including the creation of digital mapping information and plans, undertaking surveys and inspections, researching legal titles and interpreting land ownership information.

We are looking for someone who is organised, conscientious and able to work effectively as part of a team. You will have an interest in land and property information and be comfortable working with data, plans and technical information.

Above all, you will be a positive and supportive team player who is willing to learn and develop new skills. You will be adaptable, hardworking and committed to delivering a high-quality service.

You will demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement, honesty, openness, fairness and respect, and will understand the importance of providing an effective and customer-focused service.
