A local council in Scotland is seeking a Housing Assistant responsible for clerical duties, providing tenant advice, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Work Pattern: Monday – Thursday 8:45am – 4:45pm, Friday 8:45am – 4:45pm

An exciting opportunity has arisen for someone who has excellent customer care and communication skills. The role of Housing Assistant undertakes a wide range of clerical duties including word processing, filing and photocopying and has the added advantage of working within a busy locality housing office, supporting Housing Officers and providing advice to tenants and customers, making a direct impact to the local community and our service users.
Due to the post being in a front line service, the successful candidate should demonstrate a commitment to the principals of customer care along with effective communication and interpersonal skills. Due to the nature of the post, it requires a high level of confidentiality.
