Job summary

A leading training services provider in the United Kingdom is seeking a Trainer/Consultant to deliver accredited health and safety training. The role involves providing expert consultancy, conducting assessments, and building strong client relationships. Ideal candidates will have TechIOSH membership and at least 5 years of training experience. You'll have the chance to make a significant impact on workplace safety while joining a supportive and growing team. This position requires travelling across England.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years training experience, with at least 2 years in a relevant field.

Job description
Responsibilities

Acting as a Trainer, you will:

  • Deliver accredited and bespoke health and safety training courses, both face‑to‑face and online.
  • Mark assessments from training, as required.
  • Conduct NEBOSH Open Book Exam Closing Interviews.
  • Complete accurate and timely paperwork and reports.
  • Assist with the development of new training materials.
  • Participate in moderation and quality checks of training delivery.

Acting as a Consultant, you will:

  • Visit clients to assess their needs, providing expert advice on occupational health and safety.
  • Conduct consultancy work including audits, risk assessments, and inspections.
  • Provide sound written advice on health and safety law and best practices.
  • Prepare and proofread health and safety documentation.
  • Build and maintain excellent client relationships, identifying new business opportunities where appropriate.

Qualifications
  • TechIOSH (minimum) IOSH membership
  • A Level 3 Adult Teaching qualification
  • At least 5 years of training experience (minimum 2 years in a relevant field)
  • NEBOSH qualification(s)

  • Experience delivering IOSH and NEBOSH courses
